French and Indian War Reenactment

For those who don’t know, the small town of Bolton Landing served as the strategic meeting point for the French as they struggled for power and control over the important waterway known today at Lake George. June 16th and 17th at Rogers Park we will be traveling back to the 18th century. The reenactment of the French and Indian war won’t only be a great learning experience for both adults and children but, there will also be many different historic activities and events to take part in. Some of those activities include the battle reenactment, a colonial dance and 18th century cooking. There will also be events for children and an antique blanket expert who will appraise anyone’s antique blankets on the spot. For something fun and different, a mix of historic and present day Bolton Landing don’t forget to visit the French and Indian War reenactment. It’s something that the whole family can sit and watch.  ]]>
