Fort Ticonderoga Unveils Revolutionary Corn Maze: A REAL TIME REVOLUTION™ Adventure for America’s 250th!
TICONDEROGA, N.Y. – Prepare to get lost in history! Fort Ticonderoga is thrilled to announce the grand return of its 6-Acre Heroic Corn Maze & Maze Quest Adventure, opening Saturday, July 26th. This year’s maze isn’t just a challenge; it’s a unique, immersive journey back to the very beginnings of America, featuring an all-new REAL TIME REVOLUTION™ design created to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Forget your average corn maze. Fort Ticonderoga’s design stands alone, intricately woven with pivotal moments and untold stories of the American Revolution. As you navigate the towering stalks on the picturesque shores of Lake Champlain, you’ll embark on the Maze Quest: Great Journeys of the Revolutionary War. This unparalleled adventure highlights six incredible tales of heroism and epic travels from 1775, from covert scouting missions to Montreal to the monumental Noble Train of Artillery to Boston.
“This isn’t just a corn maze; it’s a living history lesson that’s fun for all ages,” says Beth Hill, President and CEO of Fort Ticonderoga. “In celebration of America’s 250th, we’ve designed a truly unique experience that allows families to actively engage with the capture of Fort Ticonderoga and the formation of the Continental Army’s Northern Department, all while enjoying a thrilling outdoor adventure as part of the Fort Ticonderoga experience.”
The maze is ingeniously divided into two phases. Guests can build confidence in a smaller maze, taking approximately 20 minutes, before tackling the main challenge, which typically takes about 40 minutes. Fort Ticonderoga collaborates with a professional maze design company from Utah, leveraging cutting-edge computer software to translate these intricate historical designs onto the landscape, ensuring a fresh and exciting quest year after year.

The Heroic Corn Maze: A Corn Maze Adventure is included with general admission to Fort Ticonderoga and will be open Tuesday through Sunday, from July 26th to October 26th, between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
