The leaves are finally beginning to change just in time for Columbus Day Weekend in Bolton Landing on Lake George! While the stunning fall foliage is a great reason to come to the Adirondacks, there’s a two full days of fun and activities to enjoy in Bolton Landing over the holiday weekend. From food and beers to arts and crafts, Columbus Day weekend in Bolton Landing is going to be a blast!
The first inaugural Bolton Landing Brewing Company Oktoberfest celebration will be held on Saturday, October 6th from 12:00 pm until 11:00 pm. They’ll be serving many of their beers, including a brand new Oktoberfest offering. The festival will also include live music, games like corn hole, and more. Prost!
Bolton’s Best Chili Contest will be held on Saturday, October 6th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Chili lovers can pay $1 per sample to enjoy unique offerings from many of Bolton Landing’s restaurants. This year’s contestants include Bolton Landing Brewing Company, Frederick’s Restaurant, Neuffer’s Deli, Stewart’s Shop, the Shack, Tops Friendly Market, The Huddle Kitchen & Bar, and Waters’ Edge Lakeside Deli. The Bolton’s Best Chili Contest will take place at the Bolton Landing Visitors Center.
The Bolton Emergency Squad Arts & Crafts Festival will be held on Saturday, October 6th through Monday, October 8th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Entry to this collection of arts & crafts vendors is absolutely free. As many as forty vendors will be selling their wares, such as jewelry, artwork, foods, and more, throughout the weekend. The festival will be held in the Cross Street parking lot, which is located one block behind Main Street and can be found by walking through the parking lot by the Town Hall.
The Bolton Town Wide Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, October 6th through Monday, October 8th from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Some people’s discarded trash may become your cherished treasure at this annual event. Stop at the Bolton Landing Visitors Center for a garage sale map so you don’t miss any of the stops!
