June 28, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

The Terrestrial Invasive Plant Identification and Survey Training will teach participants how to identify common terrestrial and wetland invasive plants such as knotweed, purple loosestrife, yellow iris, and many more. Attendees will learn how to use the iMapInvasives mobile app to quickly and easily report observations of invasive species while in the field. Contributions to this program will help APIPP better understand the distribution of terrestrial invasive species in the region. The individual who submits the most observations will receive a prize!

For more information, contact APIPP’s Terrestrial Invasive Species Project Coordinator, Zachary Simek. This is a free training, but registration is required. To sign-up, please visit: goo.gl/mTSzh7
