Summer Reading Fun with Story Laurie

July 20 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Around the World In An Afternoon – a summer family reading event with the one and only Story Laurie!

Starting with a playful and fun folk tale from the small island nation of Haiti,
listeners join Story Laurie for an imaginary journey across the Atlantic, where we
meet characters commonly found in European and African folklore. We continue our journey around the globe, with a stop in Asia, the South Seas, and finally back home to the United States. As we travel, we explore how similar stories & songs appear in the beautiful tapestry of world cultures, and are thus reminded how we
humans the world over are more alike than different.

Join us for this wonderful free event.
In the event of rain, the program will be held in the Bolton Free Library.

Sponsored by the Town of Bolton and the Bolton Free Library.
