Outdoor concerts are fun for the whole family as you listen to the various music styles under the Adirondack stars. Theater and Lecture series appeal to our more mature visitors, and our festivals and fairs keep us all young at heart! Sensory Snowshoeing

Certified Forest & Nature Therapy Guides Helene Gibbens and Suzanne Weirich will introduce you to the wellness practice of Forest Bathing. Discover how engaging all your senses, sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing leads to mindfulness and relaxation, effortlessly. Get up close to nature to rekindle your sense of playfulness and wonder at nature’s beauty. A great family activity! Suitable for children 6 years and up. This two-hour guided experience will take place on gentle terrain. We will end with a cup of wild tea and a brief discussion of how to take this wellness practice home for ongoing health benefits such as reducing stress, anxiety and blood pressure, as well as boosting your immune system’s ability to fight infection.
Pre-registration is required. A limited number of snowshoes will be available to borrow. In the case of severe weather, the event will be rescheduled. Please wear sturdy shoes and warm clothing. Hats, gloves, and scarves are recommended.
$10/person for non-members. $8/person for ADKX members.
