LIVING LANDS SERIES: ADIRONDACK MOOSE- BEHAVIOR AND TRACKING WITH JIM STICKLES

August 8, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Moose began recolonizing NY in the 1980s. Since then, aside from monitoring vehicle collisions, incidental mortalities, and the occasional aerial fixed-wing survey, very little is known about NY’s moose population. In this presentation, Jim Stickles, Big Game Biologist with DEC, will discuss moose biology, and current research designed to help inform a management plan for this iconic Adirondack animal.

Join us every Wednesday evening (except for July 4) starting June 27th as the Lake George Land Conservancy, along with Stewart’s Shops, presents our FREE summer series Living Lands. This weekly presentation series will take an exclusive and up-close look at the wildlife and people who utilize the land of Lake George and the Adirondacks, past and present! Presentations begin at 5:30 pm and are held at the LGLC office in Bolton Landing.

Registration is required and is available at www.lglc.org.

Many thanks to Stewart’s Shops for sponsoring our 2018 series!
