LGLC Next Generation Walk & Talk: Maple Sugaring at The Pinnacle

Join members of Lake George Land Conservancy’s Next Generation Committee and Bixby’s Best maple syrup maker Sam Caldwell on Sunday, April 22- EARTH DAY- for a guided walk up The Pinnacle and an exclusive visit to Bixby’s Best sugar shack!
Sam Caldwell will provide a guided walk up The Pinnacle discussing trees and tree identification in the forest. After the hike, Sam will take us to his private sugar shack to share more about the sugaring process. Check out his website here: www.bixbysbest.com/

Cost: FREE, but registration is Required!
Location: The Pinnacle: Just a five-minute drive from quaint Bolton Landing, the trail to the Pinnacle summit provides a rewarding introduction to hiking in the Adirondack Park. The view from the top offers a breathtaking panorama of Lake George.
All ages welcome!
Suggested Gear:
– Sturdy sneakers or hiking boots that are comfortable & meant for walking/hiking. (depending on weather, waterproof)
– Sunglasses
– Snacks & Water
Guide will have a med kit and emergency supplies while on the hike. No bathrooms will be available at The Pinnacle, please plan accordingly. All participants will be required to fill out a waiver prior.
