Guided Snowshoe at Amy’s Park

February 23, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

While snowshoeing through the frozen wetlands around Amy’s Park, participants will search for animal tracks in the snow and other winter phenomena as they learn about the unique adaptations of Adirondack flora and fauna for winter survival. Total trip length is 2.25 miles. This hike is rated easy/moderate and includes several short climbs.

Please come prepared with snowshoes, or indicate with you registration if you need to borrow a pair. Prepare for your winter walk with sturdy boots, warm layers, and any snacks or water you may need. Due to distance, most suitable for hikers ages 8 and up.

The program is free but registrations are required. More information and an online registration link is at
