Lake George and Bolton Landing New York Area Events and Activities
Bolton Landing New York and the immediate Adirondack and Lake George regions offer a vast array of activities throughout the year. Outdoor concerts are fun for the whole family as you listen to the various music styles under the Adirondack stars. Theater and Lecture series appeal to our more mature visitors, and our festivals and fairs keep us all young at heart! Guided Snowshoe at Amy’s Park

While snowshoeing through the frozen wetlands around Amy’s Park, participants will search for animal tracks in the snow and other winter phenomena as they learn about the unique adaptations of Adirondack flora and fauna for winter survival. Total trip length is 2.25 miles. This hike is rated easy/moderate and includes several short climbs.
Please come prepared with snowshoes, or indicate with you registration if you need to borrow a pair. Prepare for your winter walk with sturdy boots, warm layers, and any snacks or water you may need. Due to distance, most suitable for hikers ages 8 and up.

The Discovery Series is a free, multi-season program of educational, themed hikes for kids and adults organized by the Lake George Land Conservancy and led by the naturalists from Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center. This Series is made possible with support from the Town of Bolton, the Lake George Mirror, and Sylvamo.
