2ND ANNUAL AMY’S ADVENTURE RACE FOR THE LAKE

The Lake George Land Conservancy’s Next Generation Committee is excited to announce the 2nd Annual “Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake”!
Save the Date for Saturday, September 29, 2018!
This year will be the second running of the race, which is a rugged and challenging 5-mile (8 kilometer) trail run race path through and around the scenic ponds, marshes and forests of our Amy’s Park Preserve in North Bolton.
The race is designed to bring attention to the LGLC’s mission of protecting the land that protects the lake in addition to highlighting the holistic benefits of conserving our resources and providing recreational opportunities. The race will be hosted by LGLC’s NextGeneration Committee, a group of young professionals committed to bringing awareness to LGLC’s mission by organizing innovative events geared towards engaging the communities and businesses around the lake.
Cost: Early Bird Registration: $25; Day of Registration: $30
Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-35, 36-59, 60+
Course: Moderate mixed terrain of pavement and single track trail with some steep sections and bridge crossings- see Amy’s Park Preserve for more information.

Please note: Amy’s Race will happen rain or shine and will only be cancelled unless the weather is preventative of a safe and enjoyable day. If there is a cancellation, it will be posted on this Facebook page the day before the race.
