The Bolton Landing and Lake George area
enjoys some of the most comfortable weather in the country during the summer
months. But even the gorgeous Adirondack region of northern New York is not
immune from steamy summer days when the mercury rises, climbing towards 90
degrees. You and the kids want to cool off, but you want a change of pace from
lounging on the beach or by the pool… Well you are in Luck! Lake George boasts
two fantastic water parks: Water Slide World and Great Escape’s Splash Water
Kingdom. Both parks are within minutes of Bolton Landing and contain a variety
of water activities and rides suitable for adults and kids of all ages.
Water Slide World:
Located off of exit 21 on I-87, Water Slide World offers an assortment of water
slides and rides including Inner Tube Slides, Speed Slides, Sled Slides,
Cannonball Slides, and many more! The park also contains a wave and activity
pool with water volley ball and an area for sand volleyball as well.
Water Slide World also has two toddler pools for the little ones to enjoy:
Pirate Ship Cove and Aruba Scuba Duba Bay. In addition, the park offers

Splash Water Kingdom at Great Escape:
Splash Water Kingdom, located off of exit 20 on I-87, presents an exciting array
of water slides, raft, tubing rides and wave pools. A ticket will allow you to
enjoy all the rides and attractions at Great Escape in addition to the Water
Park. Splash Water Kingdom maintains a wet play kingdom called “Noah’s
Sprayground” reserved only for children under 54 inches tall. This area includes
five pools, play fountains and slides as well as 27 foot high Noah’s Arc. Visit
